Security

Security at FairLAR.

Lending data is sensitive. We build, run, and operate FairLAR with that in mind. This page describes our security posture at a high level. For specifics about our controls relevant to a procurement or vendor-review process, contact us.

Encrypted by default

Data is encrypted in transit between you and FairLAR using current industry-standard protocols.

Customer data stays customer data

We do not sell customer data. We do not use it to train models for third parties. Your data is processed solely to deliver the service you asked for.

Strong authentication

Accounts are protected with modern credential-handling practices and session controls designed to limit the impact of credential theft.

Hardened operations

Production systems are operated under principle of least privilege, segmented from public access, and changes are managed through controlled deployment processes.

Auditable activity

Sensitive account activity is logged and retained so that we — and where appropriate, you — can review what happened, when, and by whom.

Resilience & recovery

We maintain regular, automated backups and recovery procedures so customer data can be restored in the event of accidental loss or infrastructure failure.

Shared responsibility

Security is a partnership. FairLAR is responsible for the security of the platform. Customers are responsible for the security of their accounts — including using strong, unique passwords; protecting credentials; and promptly removing access for personnel who no longer need it.

Privacy of customer data

Access to customer data inside FairLAR is limited to a small number of personnel and is used only when necessary to operate the service or to respond to a request from you. We treat customer data as confidential and handle it consistent with our Privacy Policy.

Subprocessors

FairLAR relies on a small number of established service providers for hosting and related operational functions. We select subprocessors that meet our security expectations and enter into appropriate contractual protections with them. A current summary is available on request.

Incident response

We maintain procedures to detect, contain, and respond to security incidents. In the unlikely event of an incident materially affecting customer data, we will notify affected customers without undue delay and share what we’ve learned.

Reporting a concern

If you believe you’ve identified a security issue or have a question about our practices, please email support@fairlar.com. We take reports seriously and will follow up.

This page summarizes our security posture for general audiences. It is not a contract and does not modify the terms under which the service is provided. For commitments governing use of FairLAR, see our Terms and Privacy Policy.
